She has fought for affordable housing through patience, persistence, managerial influence, experience and passion. Time after time she cogently assesses critical problem areas and implements thoughtful, innovative solutions.
Mrs. Conerly started her career with Deloitte & Touche, LLP. After getting a good foundation with Deloitte & Touche, LLP, she continued her career in finance in various finance and management roles for various multimillion dollar companies and startups. Her passion for assisting others began as a consultant providing grant writing services, of which 80% were awarded. This quickly developed into providing consulting services for nonprofit organizations. After building capacity for her church’s Economic Development Center as President for 5 years, she founded Citadel Economic Development Corporation, which later became Citadel Community Development Corporation.
Mrs. Conerly has a powerful personal and professional commitment to decreasing the economic disparity that exists in the communities she serves. She is dedicated to increasing the quantity and quality of affordable housing, education and employment opportunities for at-risk or disadvantaged individuals and families. She is experienced in Community Education and has familiarity with Housing Element and Consolidated Plan Development processes. Mrs. Conerly has been blessed with the Gift of Administration and uses this God given talent to pursue various funding resources to carry out her purpose. Pastor DeMarlo McKinney
Prophetic Voice
Carrying the legacy of four generations in ministry, this Pentecostal giant submitted his life to the call of God at the age of six. Lending his youth, DeMarlo JoVan McKinney traveled the nation preaching the gospel on various platforms.
While receiving his theological studies from Life Christian University, this dynamic revivalist and prophetic voice to the nation has received great honor and respect traveling abroad being the catalyst to bridge diverse cultures, groups, social economic backgrounds, and generations together for Kingdom Building. With over three decades of devoted ministry, McKinney has served in a number of leadership capacities. Most recently McKinney served as THE the Senior Pastor of the HOPE Center Church in Boynton Beach Florida from 2013 to 2017.
While ministry flourished quickly, there was an inordinate clarion call. After much prayer and supplication McKinney yielded to the divine interruption that transitioned him and ministry to Atlanta, GA summer of 2017. Currently, McKinney serves as the Senior Pastor of the HOPE Worship Center of Atlanta. With a greater obedience and humble submission to God, the birthing of vision became bigger and grander as McKinney and his Mother; Apostle Elizabeth McKinney launched The HOPE Connection which aids as an incubator for Apostolic and Prophetic five fold ministry gifts. McKinney sacrifices daily as he continues to serve and build the legacy that has cultivated him into the General he has become today. Family is the core and root of his existence and therefore he celebrates Kriston as the mother of their pride and joy, Kaleb JoVan whom they nurture in the way of the Lord together.
